Skrill appoints Craig Doyle as SVP of Sales and Marketing

LONDON, 21st January 2013: Skrill, one of Europe’s largest online payment providers, has appointed Craig Doyle as SVP of Sales and Marketing. Craig brings over 10 years of experience from within the payments industry and will be using this strategic knowledge to help Skrill continue to grow on a global scale.

Craig spent almost a decade in various different roles at Ingenico, a leading payment services provider. Most recently he was Managing Director of the Northern European Region, VP of Marketing and Solutions for Europe and an Executive Committee Member. He was responsible for creating, developing and implementing a full payment service provider solution for various market segments, such as banks, acquirers and leading retailers within Europe. Prior to this, he assumed various Director responsibilities within Ingenico, including EVP Acquiring Business Unit, where he developed his expertise from both a functional and industry perspective. Craig originally began his career in the Banking and Finance industry in South Africa, where he worked for 12 years in Business Development and Financing.

Having previously jointly led the strategic planning implementation for Ingenico globally during a transformation period, Craig will help shape the continuing evolution and growth of Skrill in 2013. He will be bringing this experience, along with a strong working knowledge of the payments hardware and offline technology market, to the senior Skrill management team.

His appointment is the first of a number of key hires Skrill will be making in 2013 as part of its strategy for global growth.
